Writing Contest!




Contest Rules for members:


Poetry: Submissions must be a minimum of 100 words and a maximum of 3 pages (double spaced font min 12) and no more than 3 pieces of poetry can be entered. Deadline for all submission will April 1st, 2010. All snail mail submissions must be accompanied with SASE if you would like your work returned.


Essay: Submissions must be a minimum of 2 pages with a font size of between 10 and 12. The page limit is 10 pages double spaced. Your essay must be about the challenges you see facing your home, community and nation. We encourage you to include the affect your community leaders are having in your life and community.


Submit via email at mailto:hay.pearl@gmail.com in a Microsoft Word document or PDF format only! Contest winners will be notified no later than April 24th, 2010 and will be rewarded on May 1st, 2010 at the V. O. I. C. E Writer's awards banquet. Award Ceremony will be at V. O. I. C. E Writer’s awards banquet Saturday, May 1st, 2010 location TBA.
